PSYCHOACTIVE MUSIC
"Psychoactive Music" is a series of interactive music compositions powered by an AI system that renders a completely binaural/three dimensional auditory experience. The system infuses various personalized neurological triggers within carefully constructed music in order to evoke a "dream-like" meditative experience.
In performance, users wear noise-cancelling headphones and an EEG reader, and audio content based on the user's real-time EEG data are rendered in a carefully engineered method, designed to provide what each user needs in order to reach the targeted mental state.
With hopes of one day creating a new methodology in music therapy, the primary focus of this project is to create auditory experiences that are capable of shifting brainwave states towards desired neurological activity.
Throughout production, biometric equipment data and user testimonials have been the driving force in the music composition process.
